Emachine goosed!

Hi,
To those of ye who tried to help me earlier, thanks. but I think the Mobo is goosed, so I'm looking for a compatible one to replace it with..its a micro atx with a P4 A478 socket.. Can anybody advise me where to get one and are they easy to install,I'm hoping to just put all the existing bits of my old pc into it, the ram speed it 233mhz and its an AGP graphics card.

Socket 478 mobo's are gettin very thin on the ground but you may have a problem if you replace the emachine board with a non-emachine one, as the recovery will no longer work, as windows is locked to the emachine bios, when you run the cds they check for an emachine bios and if they dont find one it wont install windows for you.

Luckily I have a copy of Windows Xp I can install,
I hope its the bloddy mobo that went, having to buy new parts and find out thats not the problem sucks, already bought a PSU to no avail , the cheapeast they've got is 60E plus postage, does that sound good?
