Two hundred grand and he only puts up one tiny picture and won't even ship it?
Will arrange for local pickup only (no shipping).

Ask me arse, besides, everybody knows the 58's are better :D

In fairness, there are plenty of pics at the link he has in his ad.
The price is a bad joke though

EDIT: plus he very helpfully points out "Nearest major airport is SEATAC (Seattle WA, USA)" LOL

$200,000 eh? Hmm, that'd pay for an entire bands backline, guts of a home studio and probably have enough money left to go on a small tour of Ireland. For one guitar? I think not!

Yeah, but "this guitar is the Holy Grail" ! :D
EDIT: Maybe Karl Hungus will buy it ?

I'm pretty sure you have to pay ebay a small percentage of your opening bid, even if you don't sell the item in the end.

My arse I would! If I had that kinda money, I'd buy quite a number of custom guitars. I'm not a man for vintage gear.

That '57 one is pretty cool - note the "extended neck tendon".

    Curse on you, kazaam.

I had erased that link from my memory because it was too painful to browse. Look what you've done now. :p

Why did you have to do that? :(

Also, why is the selector switch on the edge of the guitar?

    It's a Rhoads 7. That's where it was on Randy's original.

Now this baby has really tickled my fancy. Looks to be in absolute pristine condition. Although some people wouldn't consider a 1990 guitar "Vintage" as such, I think that's easily one of the most desirable Ibanezes there are.

    It'll be a vintage in 5 years.

As far as I'm concerned, it's a vintage now. I wants it!

Ya know, I was looking at that RRV. Stewmac neckthrough, 2 pieces of alder some hardware and you're done...

I hate you Doc! I'm going to be having sexy dreams involving that guitar... :( Though I do prefer the downward pointing headstock personally. Damn that's sexy though. An RR1 is next on my guitar list, right after the JCM800.
