Few pics of mine :). Do you want to wc the graphics card and processor? HiTide have some good kits but would need to no what hardware you have first. As long as you take your time it really isnt that hard :).

The swiftech Apex kit from OCUK looks the business, and it's getting good reviews from the usual reliable sources.

Similar setup to the previous post.
Asetek kit plus a GPU block from HiTide in a nice shiney Stacker case.

Hopeful, you should flip that rad around and drill 2 holes for the hose connections, would make the hosing a lot shorter :)

Had a look around and its getting good reveiws :). Most will tell you to build a custom setup but for a first time i went for a small kit. Not sure about putting a fan over the cpu block, might just add to the noise. Do you just want to cool the CPU?

I would also like to cool the gpu so was just going to buy another rad and fan and some tubing to do this and raise my computer with some feet and the mount the all at thew bottom of the case to make it look good and then the hot air will go out of the case, i would mount them at the top of the case but i dont have enough room anymore......

::Note to self:: Forward planning is always good:D

This is on my 'To Do' list. Unfortunately my wife got hold of this list and added more 'important' things for me to be doing...like working and feeding the children. I mean...can she not prioritise?

Hahah, Ye, those "other" priorities can suck :D .

What case do you have? Important that you plan it out properly or you gonna run into all sorts of problems. Is your case on carpet? If it is the fans are just gonna be sucking up a ****e load of dust. You will get tons of ideas if you flip through a few case gallerys online.

Go there^^ and have a look at the gallerys as well as a few work logs, will give you loads of ideas :).

When did peats get so cheap?

    http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=8939&type=6&path=14x122x8951
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=314359&cks=PRL

I had in my mind that peats were 30%+ dearer than any decent online retailer, but here they're kicking Komplett's butt! Has Komplett got expensive or has Peats gotten cheap?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,279 ✭✭✭DemonOfTheFall

It's only a €15 difference in fairness. Sometimes komplett does have the odd strangely high price though, for sure. Generally cheap but sometimes they are a rip, and peats will be cheaper, even in the shop. Pretty rare though.

Make sure that youre looking at the inc. vat price on peat's site. always gets me...

That coolermaster aquagate mini might be a better bet to save a few bob, it got very good reviews.

I have the above mentioned Swiftech Apex 'Extreme Duty' on its way to me. The reviews thus far are saying its the best kit of its kind on the market today.

Will report back when it arrives!

I've got a few pics of my setups here on

    overclocking.ie

Currently working on an Antec P180 with two Swifttech watercooling loops.

It's really not that hard, especially with the likes of Asetek kits it's more or less plug and play :)
