Rear shock

I've got a 1995 ZZR400 and I need a new shock. I don't want to pay the £255 +carriage that Hagon are looking for and I don't want to buy a second hand shock from e-bay which may be worse than mine. I haven't heard of anybody who rebuilds them over here. Any advice?:confused: Thanks, Alan.

Don't know of anybody doing rebuilds here - it's a pretty specialised job.
Not all shocks are rebuildable anyway, many OEM ones are not.
Hagon are probably one of the cheapest, I'm afraid
When changing the shock make sure all the suspension bearings/bushings are in good condition and well lubed.

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.
