    i have a banner but i need it resized because it is enormous.

    Could any one please do it for me because i am haveing problems doing it!! :(

    I don't know why I did this (See attachment below). But you're better off starting from scratch as the small holes get filled too easily. Also 300KB is WAY TOO BIG for an image. Even my reduced version is too big. Teach yourself about the alpha channel in GIFs by looking at the individual frames of my gif (and googling). It saves loads on file size. You would be better off having the smiley faces as a JPEG backround in a table (i.e. just one smiley face - and the browser uses as many needed to fill the table backround) and the animated GIF on top of that.

    The whole idea is to make people want to stay on your site, rather than having them wait 1min just for your banner to load and getting impatient.
