I follow the great kingdom of Kerry and I know that one of Tadhg Kennelly ambitions is to win the All-Ireland with Kerry, that could be next year as Kerry are looking for revenge over Tyrone. Revenge will be dished out in large portions and hopefully Tadhg will grace the hallowed soil of Croke Park in front of 82,500 people next september and help bring Sam Maguire home to its rightful place Kerry. :) Did you know Tadgh has a brother called Noel who also played football for Kerry? Try a Google search for him.

    Up the Kingdom !!

Sorry to tell you it's rightful home is outside Dunmanway in West Cork where Sam Maguire was born:)

Is it not unlikely he'll be released by his club to come back and play an amateur sport which could be a injury risk. I suppose he could come back and play the 3-4 games before Kerry get dumped out in the quarters or semis.

Would you like to introduce me to Noel???

I'm sure myself, and many others, would prefer if you refrained from using terms like "snip" when referring to the All-Ireland Champions.

They played ten games to win the All-Ireland, more than any team ever I'd imagine. Therefore I think they deserve great respect. And I'm no great Tyrone supporter myself I assure you.

10 is a record for a winner I believe - Meath also played 10 in 1991, but of course lost the final. Not sure its a record to be proud of as such - Played 5 Won 5 would be a better record than Played 10 Won 6. A 60% success rate is the lowest win rate in history I'm sure. But they won the right games and the right time and were worthy winners in the end.

Wouldnt have a clue how Cavanmen refer to themselves but was surprised at offence being taken by netwhizz's joke. I'm sure it was not meant to offend any southerners!

Technically the first team to lift Sam was Kildare so that should be where he stays. Not bloody likely this year though

Doesn't matter who it was meant to offend or not offend, be they Southern or Northern, I don't think its right to refer to any football team as "Northern Knuckleheads", be it Antrim or the All-Ireland champions.

Well I wouldn't care if Cavan played 15, drew 10 and won 5 if it brought them Sam home. And let's not forget Tyrone had to play the other best two teams in the country a total of four times (Armagh = 3, Kerry = 1) so a harder route to the final in the coming years will be hard to find.

...twas a poor comment to make. Regardless of any ill_feeling toward the northern teams, comments like that are unwanted.

I thought the all-Ireland final this year was Kerry's chance for revenge, but thankfully for this northern knucklehead it never materialised! Best year ever, for me it was better than Tyrone's first all-ireland 2003.

It was also billed as the chance for them to show that they could beat Armagh and Tyrone. They failed in that too.

But more importantly, and back to the original subject, Tadhg IS hot, and I'd follow him to Australia, never mind Listowel! :)
