Perfect Website, in your oppinion

Hi ppl,
Because i cnt put my torrent site on the internet without getting a prison sentence, i need ideas in which i can make a site on!!

Come on people THINK!! lol

I was thinking of something with Backgrounds for your computer and windows themes, with freeware programs etc.

What do my fellow friends think???

A black/dark windows theme - nothing fancy, just something that doesn't light up the house like an a-bomb when i cancel out of half life 2 and the like.
That would suit me.

What's the really good hosting offer?

What kind of things interest you? When it came to me building my first decent site I did just that. Basically took something that I had a small interest in and used the site to build my knowledge on it (www.miniresource.com if you wanna have a look )

There is no reason why you cannot have a BitTorrent site, whether you are hosting torrents or just linking to them. Torrents contain no illegal or copyrighted material, so there is no justification for anyone sueing you over them.

That said if the torrents are pointing to illegal copyrighted material then they may have a case against you, esp if you are hosting in the US.

Anyway that was a little off topic, so down to the matter at hand.
Black with white writing is good, but try and make your site W3C standards complient, you can use N-Vu to design it, it is free.

There's a hell of a lot of sites out there that do that already, some of them pretty good, and many, many horrible ones.

Tbh, I don't think you should really just rehash something that's being done to death elsewhere. I think you should hold off and try and come up with something unique, or at least a novel twist on something else. The masses of the Internet will wait untill your ready (or at least untill you do come up with something new, at which point you'll get people screaming at you to hurry up ).

(edit: if you mean publishing your own backgrounds, themes, freeware etc, that would be a new, novel thing worth doing, I'm thinking off sites that just list or hold other peoples stuff).
