    hmmmm

i can see the argument with some people here, nobody really wants to see an irishman play for England, but, if he wants to test his skills at the utmost level ,then simply, playing for england is his only option

it is terrible the way nobody actually knows of Ed joyce over here, if you play cricket over here, you nearly have to keep it on the hush hush, let nobody know, i remember i played cricket for 2 years for Leinster cricket club in rathmines, im from Tallaght, so you could imagien the stick i would get from pals, eventually i left, and never played again ,although, i dont think it was that great of a loss ;)

Any Irishman who actually knows anything about cricket would not have a problem with him playing for England. The general Irish public however 1. Hate England and 2. Hate cricket. He'd probably get a load of knackers trying to set fire to his house or something.
