    Hi Guys,

    My bro wants to upgrade from win95 to win98 on his compaq armada. I dont know much about laptops but is there anything I need to know that's different from upgrading to win98 on a desktop ? Is htere specific software for specific laptops which is possibly installed onto the computers which wouldn't be included in the windows 98 cd ?

    any help would be appreciated

    Afaik the Win98 CD will be fine for installing on to either Desktop or Laptop computers.
    Just make sure you've got enough RAM (32MB's reccomended), and some nice extra Harddrive space (an extra 100MBs should do it).
