    hey guys, i want to get a big tv (by big i mean like 60 inch) or a projector. Now i am not forking out a fortune for a lcd or plasma screen tv, id be getting a rear projection tv, so basicly what would you choose and why, i mean whats the difference in quality, and advantages, disadvantages between a rear projector tv and a projector? thanks

    Well i had a chance to have a look at one of those new generation rear projection tvs from samsung. Its called DLP technology from Texas Instruments. Imagine the old style rear projection except with higher contast, clearer picture, fading when viewing TV from an angle is almost gone and its alot slimmer. Thes one in powercity, 50" for €2500. Go have a look at one. Heres a link to what i think is the model on samsungs website.
