    i heard a rumour a few months ago that newstalkfm which broadcasts2 dublin had or was looking4 a lisence2 broadcast2 all off ireland any1 know iffthis was true or not as itseems2 be a good radio station

    i wouldnt mind if it did go nationwide. wouldnt be a bad thing to happen as a little bit of choice is never a bad thing

    they're going for a national broadcast license in the next few months. if it works out you could hear them in the back arse of nowhere by the end of 2006/early 2007

    Any chance you could write in English? Agreed Newstalk are a good service and have been pushing for a "quasi national" licence. This would give them coverage of the main population areas in Ireland. The BCI have indicated that they are prepared to offer a licence for such a service. Newstalk, along with anybody else who is interested will have to submit an application to the BCI.
