Yeah I'm gonna head down too, but haven't booked tickets for anything due to extreme laziness. I think we might go out to Kinsale or somewhere similar this year for a change - any recommendations?

I think you'll find accommodation is pretty much booked out.

we tried to get some about 3 months ago and couldnt find ANYTHING in Cork city.

I probably wont be going now and may have some tickets for sale soon. will post in FS if I do.

    Great line-up check www.corkjazzfestival.com

    Ron Carter
    McCoy Tyner
    Joshua Redman
    Incognito
    An incredible Duke Ellington event
    Charlie Hayden
    Chick Corea
    etc etc etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also, for those who like jazzy flavoured elcetronic stuff there's the excellent Dennis Ferrer at Go Deep, The Unabombers Electric Soul Sound system at the Savoy and Cork soul/funk band Cartoon launching their wicked new single at the Imperial Hotel
