For the web text (ie free version) this one did the trick

    http://www.mackers.com/projects/o2sms/

For o2's own software package .. head in the Business Section and look for DesktopSMS or Desktop Text I think it is .. thats the one that integrates into Outlook

i created a shortcut in firefox (got it on boards before), create a shortcut in the toolbar folder with the following destination:

    https://apps.o2.ie/NASApp/Portal/Login?username=YOURO2USERNAME&password=YOURO2PASSWORD&referrer=https://apps.o2.ie/NASApp/redirects/grouptext/webtext.jsp

and tick the box that says 'Load this bookmarkm in the sidebar'... saves me logging in all the time and annoying timeouts...

Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> Bookmarks Toolbar folder -> Create it in here...

It'll work in IE too but the advantage of doing it in firefox is that it opens on the left and keeps your current web page open too...

Haven't a clue, don't have a vodafone number to use to login to their site to test out a link...

Thank you much for the URL, very useful indeed,
The firefox sidebar trick works fine untill you send a txt and click on Click here to send another and then it loads in the main menu :(
    still useful though

True but in this case don't click the o2 link to send a text, just click the shortcut on the toolbar again, it'll open the same sidebar window again, bobs ur uncle, fanny's ur aunt...

Sorry im a bit lost :(

    EDIT

I've been using that "text buddy" , mentioned above , for the last 6 months or more and find it handy .

You need perl and a set of perl modules. You'll find the exact list in the 'installation' section of the o2sms site.
