Brown kind of cow-girl boots with tight dark washed blue jeans looks good imo.

Looks horrible imo, especially on short girls.

Wear this trend only if you have stick thin legs, non-existent hips and no saddlebags - this trend will make the slimmest person look three times bigger than they are. It's as unflattering as skinny jeans. And most girls spend their lives trying to minimise their thighs and bums, not accentuate them!

Your jeans have to be tight for this, and if you're trying to crush bootcut jeans into boots they'll come back out over the top and will look ridiculous. The trendiest boots for this look at the moment are knee high leather boots with a slightly rounded toe and a block heel. Like the Chloe ones.

If you must do this, please don't wear Ugg boots or cowboy boots - both completely hideous!

Cowboy boots NEVER looked good. Don't go near them. Get a decent quality pair of boots and jeans though. Cheap ones of either look silly, especially when paired up. May I take this moment to remind you all that jeans should not be bought in New Look and those kinds of places. They are ill fitting, the washes are always atrocious and they don't last. Invest in your jeans! Or do what I do, buy your jeans in the sales that way you get decent ones at affordable prices. Everywhere has drainpipe jeans this season so shouldn't be too difficult to track down. Victoria by Pepe Jeans would do the trick anyway.

Wedge boots do look pretty cute, they may not be practical but they look pretty classy. There are some nice flat boots around this season too. Check out Schuh etc. I think Uggs are the most practical shoe around. In England it gets freezing during winter and I need to keep my footsies warm. Being in college from 9am-5pm, or from 10am-9pm in more extreme cases, you need a boot that is comfortable and even though uggs may not be the cutest they are certainly one of the most practical fashions in a while.

Don't like it at all. I'd prefer a nice pair of bootcut jeans with my Docs or Timberlands or skate shoes tbh.

Well, I wear jeans tucked into boots sometimes and I'm a FAP mod therefore... uh...

Well, it's a practical, warm way to dress for winter although I think it works better with more elegant boots than those ugg/yeti-strapped-around-my-ankle ones and with drainpipe jeans of course!
