    check out

    www.hitched.co.uk

they have speeches from previous peoples weddings that people have rated ...so you could get a good look at other speeches that way and mould your own around one.

only advice i'd give is to say all the lovey dovey stuff about your bride and not her mother :D

    Great advice there.

I used that site to do a best man's speech, and my own wedding speech too.

It's funny you can cut and paste good ideas that you can use, but your final version will probably end up being mostly your own words. You just need a prompt to get the juices flowing.

Advise? Thank paying parents, guests, priests, (and special mentions) - make in-law joke - tell bride she's a cracker - thank your lads - tell the bridesmaids they're lovely - hand over to the BM - sit down and get wasted!

It's never as bed as you think and no-one ever remembers anyway.

    Best of luck :D

Best man introduces himself and each person

1st : By Father of bride, Propose a toast to the bride and Groom, short talk about bride

2nd : Groom. Thank Father of bride & bestman and own parents and brides parents, talk about you new wife, present bouquets to Moms, toast Bridesmaids. eg

And finally, we must thank the brides maids. They are two great friends of ours and they did one hell of job over that last few months and today. Would you kindly stand and raise your glasses and drink a toast to the health of our brides maids, two wonderful people, Kate & Mary.

    (Pause.)

    To Kate & Mary!

3rd : By Bride, Thank Groom and his family, Thank guests for gifts

4th : By Best man, Reads out telegrams and talks about the groom.
