And tbh, the more I look at Rickenbackers, the less I like them :eek: Must be this work thing messing with my head. That six string still scares me.

Mine's the same as John2's, but in a funky natural olour and it has an extra humbucker.

Rics are funny....they look old-fashioned and clunky to me when they're sitting on a stand, but when I see someone playing one, they look futuristic and cool.

played a rick through a mesa boogie in musicians inc and thought it was TERRIBLE.. muddy sh!te but thats just my oppinion.. prove me wrong PLEASE

I agree, Steoob....those Mesa Boogies aren't what they're cracked up to be.

Mid scoop, eh? I found you usually have to run Rics flat or depending on the amp, sometimes with a little low end taken out. Fantastic tone.
