Its just an illusion :). There is some kind of a trick involved, we will never no what that trick is but there is one.

I'd never have guessed. The guy that was inside was obviously in on it, we should hunt him down and torture him until he tells us.

Ohh :o , well i have 1 idea. If any of you have seen David Blane Street Magic you would have seen the trick where he sticks a cigarette through a coin.
I later found out you can buy these coins at magic shops, when they are heated they become soft.
Perhaps this window was made of something along those lines?

For all we know it was edited. I mean the quality of the video, far away view and erratic zooming really doesn't make it convincing.

Yeah it's Criss Angel. He 'Teleported' from under a garbage can in times square. The video is on Big Boys somewhere. There's more on his website. There were two magic specials of his on channel 4 a while ago too. He's a pretty good street magician and he has a show on times square where he does stage magic.

David Blaine did a similar illusion where he put his hand through a window (through paper like that clip) and took a diamond ring out of a window.

I don't think it's the same as the cigarette through the coin illusuion though cos the coins dont actually become soft when heated. There's a little spring loaded panel cut out of them which you can't see from the front.

So in short no, i have no idea how it's done.

It was one really well anyway. It doesn't matter HOW he did it.

I reckon that something was done to the window while he was taking off his shoes. It speeded up and the sounds went. Suspicious.

Well since they pay particular attention to covering the lower half of the pane with a sheet of paper and he has a helper inside with him, it has to be something to do with having a perspex/polycarbonate or some other exotic pliable yet tough plastic....the lower half of the "window" is bent back (to the right side from our perspective I reckon, since you can still see the pane on the woman's side) to allow the guy to exit through the paper (which he makes sure to take time to try and re-cover once exited). A split second is allowed for the helper to bend back the "glass" into place and it is knocked by the magician to show it's solidity...

    Or something.
