    Does anyone know if there's a search function online for libraries in Dublin? I need to get a certain book and my college lib doesnt have it and i cant afford to buy it! plus i only need it to write one report then never again!
    help!

    If you go into (your local branch of) the library, they also have terminals for searching the catalog - but then you probably knew that. :o

    Yes, and if Dublin City Council libraries don't have it, try Malahide/Swords, etc... they're in the Fingal Council Library system. As far as I know you don't have to live in either area to apply for a membership card (besides, if you explained the situation I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out).

    You could also try www.borrowbooks.ie

    Its a tad slow but it lets you search all public libraries in the country that have a web catalogue & if you find your book you can order it online & pick it up at your local library :)

    Where are you based? You could also try South dublin Libraries or Dun Laoghaire Rathdown libraries.
