I just wanted to thank everyone for the help and advice ive recieved in my "Advice Wanted" thread. Ive decided to keep the Vivitar! I was mesing around with some of the settings earlier, and was i surprised!! the digital zoom is very good, and after adjusting exposure and light settings, i think ive fixed the niggly issues i had with it. Im going to invest in 2 SD cards, and some acceries ( Rechargeable battery kit, Cheap Tripod etc ) and start snapping. Ive been learning the software too ( Ulead photo express ) and have been able to fix MANY problems that were in my snaps. Ive also cropped the dust pic, and submitted it for compo 6 here. ( I may have been too late tho :( )

Thanks all, here is some of the pics ive taken...( or fixed )
