I bought an item from ebay which was a golf bag, purchased through paypal. The item was never delivered and I was given a refund upon asking for it. I assumed that this money would be sent to my paypal account and I later discovered that it was refunded on the 3v voucher.

I checked my balance and it hadn't changed on my 3v voucher. 70 euro has disappeared somehow and I don't know what to do.

Has anyone else had a refund on their 3v voucher and how did you deal with it

I don't think they can refund directly to a 3V number. I'd contact 3V support if I was you.

I bouhgt 3v a few months back to try it out.
I had to do a refund on it, and it didnt get charged back to the card.
It was only 3 bucks, so I simply charged that as the price of experience and didnt bother going after 3v about it.

*3v are going to make an absolute killing on this*

Paypal refunds to a 3V voucher do work but they can take a week.
Have done it a couple of times.

The other problem with Paypal is that in order to verify your 3v voucher when adding it to your Paypal profile they authorize a dollar/euro and it takes days for them to reverse it.

The problems are all with Paypal. I had 3V on the 'phone with me trying to get Paypal to get their finger out. 3V very helpful, Paypal complete assholes.

Sorry to hijack the thread but its been a week :)

I've a 3v card. It expires 11/05. Does it expire at the start or end of the month?

Here's an update to the situation:

I contacted 3v who informed me that the money would be refunded. The money was refunded and there was no problem after that. Thanks for all the help people

Just rang 3V there myself, with a similar question, and was quoted a maximum of 10 days, with 4-6 days being a more usual time frame, for refunds on the voucher.
