    Anyone else love this show?
Ive all 7seasons, theres 25episodes in a season, and they`re making a season 8 now in the Autumn. :)

Its hilarious, and class. All the characters are really well done, the whole show is just class. Just thought i`d comment on its brillance in here.

I didn't know that they were making another series, I thought it was finished.

I liked it when it first started but lost interest after awhile. When I lived in America last year, they showed it everyday on Fox. And I thought it was very funny. The writing got better. Pity they don't show it on RTE anymore.

It's shown on Trouble, Sky Digital 607, almost every day & I think it's show on Paramount Comedy, Sky Digital 127

they are making another? flogging a dead horse? same cast or a new cooler cast?

    so many questions
    that 80's show was horrible

Season 8 will be missing "Eric" and "Kelso" i think.
But the rest will be there, and a couple new characters too.
Hardly a dead horse, all the seasons are class, it didnt lose its edge. Right up to season7 it was still goin strong.

I used to love that show... watched it from when it started.
Where can you watch it on tv now? I only have regular NTL at home :(
Are all the series available on DVD yet?

believe so, but that rarely means anything to the PTB, remember what happened to Dawson on Dawson's Creek, or was that James fault. :D

I thought it started off really well then dipped a bit and then got better again.

RTE used to show about two or three episodes very late on a Sunday or Monday night earlier on this year.

Yeah, remeber stayin up for that, that was ages ago though, like before the summer I think...
Good show, the dad RED was SO funny, he`s like homer in the simpsons (bart was supposed to be the main character) , he just stole the show

A great show alright. My favourite moment was when they all got stoned on a crow by accident :D
But that 80s show... I remember seeing that and being angered that the makers had obviously missed all the humour of the 70s and moved onto the not so funny 80s. I watched one episode on RTE. Never again (and i think RTE got the idea too)

moved onto the not so funny 80s

I would have liked to have seen That 80s Show with the same characters of that 70's Show a few years on.

IMO at this stage 7 years on its 1983 since it started in 1976.

    It's like Heartbeat but good.

They claim that each series only covers 6 months so they are barely still in the '70s. The year is shown on the number plate in the opening and closing credits.

6 months means that Serie 8 is the last series.

I stopped watching it when Eric was gone, off topic but had that awful show called "That 80s Show" anything to do with this one? Terrible, just terrible.

it was that 70's show: the next generation

    (I'm very sorry about that)

That 80's Show was produced by the same company. Casey Warner.

They also produced 3rd Rock and Grounded 4 Life.

i was reading a whole article about its downfall leading to its cancellation.
donna's mother went of to look after her real life sister, laurie got kicked off for drug abuse, then was brought back and voluntary left, cheech(?) joined the cast, kelso & eric went off to kickstart their movie careers, donna dyed her hair bonde, eric's replacement(whose name i cant remember) is an idiot.

sad really, it was a fantastic show the first few seasons, im still amazed its lasted this long

They did a Star Wars themed episode once so I made a point to watch it. God awful stuff imho. By about the 3rd minute I wanted Clarence Boddicker to pull out his shotgun and start killing people.

Nah that was one of the better episodes.
