End user Reporting component anyone?

    I'm looking for a good end-user reporting component that I can drop into an existing system.

    Criteria are:

    1. Should be web-based if possible (ActiveX will do at a push)
    2. Should be able to define meta-data to give field-names user-friendly names and make joins for users where possible
    3. Cheap!

    I use Crystal a lot, but I wouldn't consider it an end-user tool. I've also used the Cognos products, but they are too expensive for the implementation that I have in mind.

    Ideas anyone?
