    Im on windows XP .... How do I take a windows/PC screen shot and what folder does it go into by default?

    Press the PrintScrn button on the keyboard, towards the end of the F1, F2, F3 row. Then open up any imaging program and click "edit --> paste" and it will appear. Works best with photoshop.

    or MS Paint does the job also...less hassle ;)

    Or if you want to take a screenshot of and active window or error pop up, just use alt+print scrn button rather than taking a whole screenshot!
