Laptop as portable second computer

I am just wondering if you guys have any opinions on this. I have a top of the line PC at home where I work with graphics and sound. It pretty much has everything I need.
But I need some kind of gadget to have as a portable PC. Something that goes beyond Email/Office and can be use to do some minor editing and carry large attachments.
Is there something out there besides a laptop? Or can someone recommend a laptop that is very portable and can do some minor graphic and sound editing, and hopefully is cheaper because of it??

I know I am being vague, but I think it is because what I really want isn't on the market. I am kinda of thinking of a portable version of those Mini PCs:

    Thanks!

I purchased a Sony Vaio SRX-87 on ebay earlier this year - it's very portable, almost like a big PDA, has a usuable screen and keyboard and might just be what you are looking for. It has a 10" screen and is powered by a Pentium III-M 850. You should be able to get one for under 500 euro. Worth a look anyway...
