    Ok.What series is Family Guy on in America,Series 4 or 5?

    And also more importantly,When does it get aired over here?

    Series four afaik.

    They had a break for a couple of weeks after episode ten (think it was ten) so some people have started calling the subsequent episodes series five. It's a bit of a confusion alright, but as far as I'm aware, it's season four offically.

    Not sure when it's on over here.

    The episodes that say 5x01, 5x02 and 5x03 on the tapes your cousin sent over are actually 4x11, 4x12 and 4x13.

    There's no airdate for Season 5 yet.

    thereis no season 5
    the contract and deal was they get to make 1 more season supposed to be a 33 epsiode season (may be 30 epaisodes) the gamily guy movie was orgianally a 3 part episode in season 4 before they released it as a movie

    Its broadcast season 5 but its actually season 4. All these episodes will be on the season 4 dvd.

    completetly unrelated to the thread but no point making another thread but can anyone tell me the episode where peter is on a bus and starts singing "ridin on bus ridin on a bus"

    i'm 99% sure i haven't made this up but i can't seem to find it.

    I'm fairly sure that's the "Family Guy Viewer Mail" episode (last episode of season 3 AFAIK), where he had several wishes and chose to have his own "theme tune".
    "Ah come on guy, it's classic travelling music!"
    Then the angry guy goes to beat him up and he wishes he had no bones.

    the same tune is also used in other episodes one off the top of my head is (i think) the charlie and the chocolate factory pi$$ take where Peter runs to the science lab to take one away from 4

    they started out as 3 "new episodes" of season 4 (which would in turn be the last AFAIK) but then that got cancelled which led to the movie being made, however because of the huge sales of the DVD's they brought out another season which as tusky pointed oput made season 4 into season 5...
