The villain is not a good player. I took a few quid off him earlier on two hands with crap after he had raised pf. I think he flopped the AK nut straight on one hand and he gave me two free cards before reraising my 83s runner runner rivered flush. I reraised him and took a decent amount off him. What do you do on the river here?

If he had a pocket pair and he is as loose as you say he would have probably re-raised pre-flop. If he was holding two spades and the flop was rainbow I would not have expected a call to the bet on the flop Unless one of his two was the eight of spades or he had landed four to a straight. He called a 3 x rase pre-flop A 8? K 8 maybe? Being that there was a flush draw a straight draw and the possiblity of a set added to him calling and then raising you a third of your stack I would have folded the queens.

I'd say he has an 8, or 6,7, you didn't raise enough Pre-Flop or on the turn IMHO.

Pre-Flop and with 2 callers before you, the BB still to act, he was priced in to call with any marginal hand really, so I'd say 6,7 (maybe even of spades for a str8 flush) is the most likely holding..

On the turn your half pot sized bet looked weak, although you say this guy is not good, I'm not sure in what way you mean this, does he bluff too much, call draws without proper odds, etc. etc. how would he view this half pot sized bet??

It's unlucky and a hard hand to fold but unless he is a complete Moron, he must have you beat by the river, by your description he sounds very passive, the only thing that he might possibly have that you still beat is JJ, TT or a complete bluff, But unless you've seen him making similar big bluffs, it's a fold IMHO...

[Oct 14 11:28:09] : Tacklef wins $386 with Two Pair: Queens and 8s
    [Oct 14 11:28:19] : Hand is over.

There were two reasons for the call.
1). I knew he was pissed at loosing alot of money on the earlier hands, he had been up near $300. Could he stand loosing even more money?
2). I hadn't seen him bluff before, but the all-in looked too much like a buy. If he had've bet $30-$60 I would've folded no problem. If he had an 8 that's the amount I'd expect him to bet.
I wanted to keep a lid on the pot on the turn because I knew I was vunerable, if not beaten already, but I would've expected a reraise here if he'd made a better hand, he wanted to get me so bad he wouldn't slowplay it. It did look weak though. I couldn't check the turn and let him take the initiative and his call let me know I was still ahead. It took a while on the river but based on his tilt level and the size of the bet I made the call.
