Brewery of the month

I have had an idea on promoting what people think is a good beer.
its all well and good 21 different people giving their views on what a great beer/ale/spirit etc is, but i thought it might be an idea to have a brewery of the month.

basically, my thinking is that this forum is here to promote the enjoyment of beer wine and spirits, and since we have quite a number of people who are willing to try the drink of the week etc, then it might be an idea to have one for the month.

now, since a brewery can produce several different varieties of beer etc (and i use the term brewery loosely, i am including vineyards and distillaries in there as well, forgive me my industry ignorance ), i figure that a month will give people a decent length of time to try out at least 3 or 4 different products from a single brewery.

im all for trying lots of different beers, wines and spirits, but im interested to see what people think of brewery/vineyard/distillary of the month.

now, with respect to what people think of the different products, a palce (lets call the brewery/vineyard/distillary a place until someone corrects me with better terminolgy!) should be selected and put into its own seperate thread. this thread will then be linked by the mod at the end of the month to the 'place of the month' stickied thread so that people can see at a glance what has been done.

in the actualy topic thread, people can stick in what they drank, and what they thought of it.

so. is this idea a runner, or is it a complete load of pants?

ive added a poll, with yay, nay or other. if other, give another idea.
there is no atari jaguar option out of respect for the dead.

I voted YES because I love trying new beers. I don't do wines or spirits, except if I'm really pi$$ed/there's a free drinks reception/there's nothing else.
Caveat. I will NOT drink any of the following "beers":
Budweiser. Miller. Coors. Stella. Fosters. Harp. Dutch Mold. Carlton Cold. Anything in a can.
Just found the Erdinger Octoberfest WeiBbeer, and enjoyed it. Not too different from regular Erdinger though, was hoping for a darker beer, as Autumn beers often are.
Will have the Spaten Octoberfest tomorrow evening.

For the first "Brewery of the month" I was going to suggest the "Huyghe" brewery - they of Delerium Tremens fame. Also of course Delerium Nocturnum, and La Guillotine.
But I don't know how accessible the range of beers will be from any one particular brewery (I've never seen La Guillotine here, for example).
Maybe we should go by country instead of brewery??? Might be a bit easier to get more beers that way. Oh and if anyone knows where to get Lasko Pivo, PLEASE tell me, I fell in love with it in Croatia on holdidays!

Question is, should we rotate every month, or have a 'brewery/vineyard/distillary' every month?

yeah, i was thinking about that, but i guess at the moment, im thinking its like the drink of the month thread, i dont think there is any perticular order. but i do agree that it should be mixed up good and proper.
