[request] opinions on dell monitors

I've bought three of them Tony. They are a great buy (same panel as the 20" Apple Cinema displays), but the price goes up and down a fair bit, so you might get it a bit cheaper than the current price if you're prepared to wait.

as you might have noticed there is a 30% off selected monitors on most dell european sites, expires on the 26th I believe.
the monitor is good, early models had some problems with backlighting etc but this should be generally fixed in this line by now

OT: still pissed off that their 2405fp 24" is 200E dearer in .ie than in .de
