This game is not going to be run anymore in this venue. We are looking at a number of options for the Northside and hope to have a tournament running in the area soon.

Yeah sorry Paul, I can't keep digging into my pocket for a venue that is not going to work. There is a pub poker championship event on in O'Niells in Duleek if you fancy a €60 Freezeout :D

We are looking at other venues including the one you told me about, as soon as one is sorted Boards will be the first to know.

I may head to O'Niells...or the 50 plus one in the Fitz,as a few of us had planed on playing the AUL.How are the poker championship events going and whats the structure like...?I no I read something last week out in the Europa but I cant remember.

Duleek is first exit after the M1 Toll.

    The structure is a €60 Freezeout. 5000 starting chips, 20 min levels. 8.30 start time. Blinds 25/50 50/100 100/200 150/300 200/400 300/600 500/1000 800/1500 1000/2000 1500/3000 2500/5000 5000/10000.

Could be anywhere between 30 and 80 players. Levels will be added or taken away depending on numbers. As always I will give the best structure I can within the allotted time.

Top 10 % go through to grand final where you are guaranteed some money wherever you place. More heats have been added and I would imagine first place in the grand final will at least meet our €5000 estimate - not bad for a €60 comp. €50 of entry fee goes into prixe pool.

Final will now be Wed 9th November. There are 3 heats most weeks until then. You CANNOT buy directly into the final.

Final will have 10,000 starting chips.

    Tables are 8 handed.

Can I suggest The Shieling Hotel in Raheny.
It's got a good catchment area, is close to the DART, is served by a number of bus routes etc.
Of course they might be expensive and I don't know how late they'd let you go til, but it might be worth a phone call.

They don't want poker, The Regency is the same. Barstewards. :D

We will get another venue, meanwhile try the Drogheda tournie, it takes the same time to get there as it does to get to the Fitz for most of you Northsiders.
