    hey dont know if this is the right forum but here goes..

    whats the noun thats like.. a delapitated area thats assosiated with poverty and crime.. not really a slum but a place in a town were there are lots of "people" living... cant think of a word im sure theres one out there.. anybody have an idea?

    nah theyre more kinda words for like foreign minoritys.. ok basically im lookin for a word that is a cool word for a total knacker ****hole.. and not ballymun haha

    You could try the english forum, it's at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=328 though I don't think it's frequented as much as the literature forum. I would go with shanty town myself but it's only really acceptable in a developing country like India or something, if you're talking about Ireland you could try high-density region if you were being really PC but I guess ghetto or tenement should be fine
