Great photos ds, looks like you've got the makings of a documentary there.
Was the "Technical sculptures" a minature wrecked citroen or were my eyes deceiving me! Looks like a great turnout, if I thought it was that big I'd have gone over for a look!

    Thanks junkyard.
Yes it was a miniature DS, incredibly detailed.

The turnout was 4000 people in 1600 (or 1700, I'm not sure) cars. They reckon about 10000 lined the streets of Paris from the Arc to the Eifel tower.

It was well worth attending - I won't forget it in a hurry!

    Wonderful photos', wonderful cars !

Thank you for sharing those !

What is the story with the 2door Coupe type cars ? Are they "Chapron" cars too ?

Those Decapotable's are fantastic. I've never seen one with its soft top up !

Chapron did build a number of Coupé's, they're even rarer than the decaps.

Citroën's work rally team prepared the shortened light blue fast-back with the Kamm tail.

There were a number of other coupé coachbuilders, but I can't for the life of me think of their names.
