Free software to convert a PAL dvd to NTSC?

    I have a wedding video in PAL that I want to change to NTSC to send to people in the US. Is there a free program that will do this. Obviously it has no protection codes etc on it.

    the easiest step would be using DVDx and rip it to .avi first then back to DVD, if you use nero to burn then it makes things even easier, you need to get some codec as well so the avi file wont be huge, unless if you have alot of disc spaces

    does the dvd have menus etc ?, or is just a quick conversion from video ?

    can organise something with final cut pro and IDVD on a mac for a few quid if you want

    Thanks for the offer formatman, I would prefer to try it myself as I will probably be doing more in the future. I have a 200gb HD so space is no real problem. I will give the avi thing a go.
