    Ok so here's the deal.
I have to order a PC for my mother-in-law as she has no credit card  . The Dell site says it will only deliver to the address on the credit card i.e mine. Now I have no problem with this but I was wondering what the deal is if I'm not there to recieve the delivery? Do Dell arrange a specific time? If no-one can recieve the delivery where do they send it back to? Any advice appreciated.

You can actually get it shipped to a different address, if you register this address with your credit card company (took me one phone call). I would highly recommend to do this and register your work address or an address were it's guaranteed that someone is always available to take it,
In my case Dell turned up without notice and I wasn't there. We than agreed for a second delivery date and this time they didn't showed up. It then took a while to get the address changed. They than delivered it without problems to my work address and left it there at reception.
