Hey, have a bit of a strange problem with my laptop. I sometimes use an external ps/2 keyboard, when I unplug it the laptop keyboard seems to have the function key on constantly ie when I press the letter "i" I get the number 5 so when I want to type I need to have the function key pressed all the time.

Any ideas how to fix this?

    Cheers

    Press the NumLock key
If that works-ensure that it's set to be OFF by default in the BIOS, or google for the hack (OS Dependant solution)
