When someone else has used a computer, do you ever stick your nose in and check out what sites they were visiting?

I've an interesting tale..... a few years ago my sister asked me to use the computer and then she old me to fuk off while she was using it because she wanted to be left alone. She doesn't know much about computers, so naturally she didn't realise that the sites she visited would be recorded. Since she was so protective about it I just *had* find out what she doing, and I found she had been visiting sites about Abortion.

I never said anything (she'd know I was invading her privacy), and nothing's been mentioned about it since. Scary..........

heh... yea, I've been known to do that alright.

although, considering some of the sites I look up from time to time, I've never felt the need to make an issue of other people's browsing habits. There's so much wiered and wonderful stuff on the 'net, being prudish is missing out imho. When I'm looking at other people's browser history it's usually just to find out what I'm missing :p

First thing i do on any friends computer when left alone is "Show Hidden Files" and
search for *.avi , *.mpg , *.mov etc.

Bound to come across som shoddilly hidden porn. If its something strange its even better, leave it playing for when they return and just look at them in a disappointed way. Always good for a laugh.

Lol I've done that a few times but it's only the internet cafés in town that I've found pretty messed up stuff on, have never came across anything like it in a cafe in the suburbs.

    something similar here.
In college there was this quiet guy and he was always in the computer labs on chat rooms.
I was browsing one of the main network drives for a file from a lecturer and found a professional photograph of him (posing.... clothes on thankfully!!) that he must have been sending to some netfriends.
I showed a few other mates, and then they proceeded to put his posed photo on all the PCs as wallpaper!! :D
    The poor lad....

Our none-too-bright student placement had been sent to reboot all the PCs in the server lab, and when he was still absent after about half an hour I went to see if he was managing this fairly elementary task.
A sound of scurrying came as I opened the door and our flush-faced young hero stammered that he'd had "a bih o' bothur wi' wun o' the wee servers, hai" (or however a Monaghan accent is spelt). As I checked the PC in question, I noticed a browser was open in the backgrourd and went to close it down, but not before I clicked on the history list... I was choking back the tears of laughter as I asked him to explain what he thought the sites in question were, him coming up with pathetic excuses and turning pucer by the second.

There was some fairly rough stuff on it, NSFW to say the least.
