MPG AVI Video Tags (genre etc)

    When I add video files to the Windows Media Player library it has colmuns for genre artist etc, like with mp3 files. But I'm not able to change the information. Are there any good (simple) programs which will let me change this information, many files at a time?

    What format are these video files, as each have different structures for storing meta data?

    Some are mpegs some are .avi (xvid/divx). A program which can do both would be nicec:)

    You can't add meta data tags to MPG I'm afraid. You can with AVI...though it's not in the AVI specs.

    Anyway, I use ABCAVI
