Hi. I'm looking for the wavelength of light emitted by a He-3 or He-4 lamp. I've spent ages searching in books and on google to no avail. Does anyone know somewhere I might be able to find this kind of information? Any help at all would be much appreciated. Thanks. :)

I seem to remember these being called Fraunhofer lines.

He D3 is ~587.6 nm

The CRC handbook, which should be in most university libraries has all that kind of information in it

At least I think it was called that. It should be in the general chemistry section. 540 or so in Dewey classification
