Want to head off for a break with my girlie on Thursday (13 Oct) for 2 days...anywhere.

Only have about 300 Euro to spend on getting there and accommodation for the pair of us.

Anybody have any recommendations here or abroad for such a small budget?

    Ruggie,

Try the Gold Coast Hotel in Waterford, was there this time last year on Golfing trip.

They have nice self catering units ....and haggle !

Rooms are OK, but for your budget, this spot is a good place, nice hotel food and nice bar.

P.S This time next year, it will be a €1000 weekend away with your winnings from your new found hobby ;)

You could try Jersey and the Channell Islands - i know aer lingus fly there and guesthouses are not too bad pricewise. Nice place aswell.
