2 x DS20's for sale in Dublin. One white, driving LHD, black interior, perfect to drive away. One RHD light blue, beauty, work finishing, complete with genuine 60,000 miles on clock.

    Hi dsman.

    Any photos/prices?

Car one is driving daily and in excellent running order, LHD white with black leatherette interior, no real issues, previous owner didn't do a great job matching paints when patching on two panels but otherwise a very decent car - e6500, no offers.

Car two is a beauty, RHD, v. rare colour, genuine 60k miles, and driving. To get her into show-shape I am installing new solenoid, interior headlining, vinyl roof cover, refurbishing 4 panels in full, and reconditioning fuel tank, it lay unused for 12 years and is in amazing condition for it's age and lack of use. Pre-Work e6500, with work done in one month e10,000 and will be worth every penny.

I should have photos tomorrow, anything in particular you want to see ?

    Thanks dsman

I've a friend looking for a good RHD.
    Are they semi-auto?
    Pallas? Leather?
    What years?
    Has there been much welding?

If you're taking photos, can you show:
the area when you remove the cover over the rear anti-roll bar
    Boot floor (under carpet)
    driver's floor (under carpet)
underside shot of rear suspension mounts
lengthwise shot of underside of side members
bottoms of the doors, inside and beneath.
    Roof seal

these are some pics or car in transit to me , my other pic files are tooo large but these should give you the overall picture.

    RE details

    1973 DS20
    Not Pallas or IE
Sills V.Good - no work needed
No welding - totally original car.
    Chassis : excellent
Rear Suspension solid but rear boot inner section beginning to show signs
    Boot Floor excellent
Door bottoms, 2 need work, esp driver , boot lid also.
Roof relined/sealed, could do with a spray -
Interior excellent and a brilliant blue colour - i hadn't seen this colouring before.

I ask the same questions as you when it comes to DS's and she was bought for the integrity of the chassis overall and the condition of the main 'worry' areas.

Because this car in this colour is so unique I'm going to get her up to 'show' - if not sold within the next week or so. Here's what i plan to do over 4 weeks :

    new solenoid, new rear fender
replace driver door panel (4 ins)
Re-cover vinyl roof, boot lid and possibly replace two rear panels (I have all parts)
    New interior rooflining,
All doors refinished and all panels worked on resprayed.
    Install iPod, speakers & armrest

After that, this car will be one of the very best on the road and will come with a price to match.

With a great chassis, RHD and genuine 60,000 on the clock, this is a very rare find. You could do none of the above and still have a headturner.

the white car is running perfcetly and needs nothing at all done. LHD however.

For either the blue or white DS20 in current condition I am looking for e6500, when finished in November the blue car will be over e10,000

I was trying to figure that out myself!
It was weird enough to see I'd already replied to what I thought was a new thread...

    Well recalled, ds.
