I used a momentus swing trainer club when i was at the west coast challenge this year... i'm going to buy one myself.. it weighed about 2kg... and was astonishing is all i can say!!

It was heavy though, weighed about 2kg or so. So if you don't like a heavy club, there are lighter ones. I bought a lighter one recently and don't like it, so I'm going to sell it on ebay probably.

    check out www.momentusgolf.com

I've seen the ad for that and I was thinking 'could this be 2 good 2 be true, a club that makes you swing right'

If you have that other momentus trainer, I might consider buying off of you

I dont udnerstand how the club gets the the correct swing path. I have tried it and another one, and for me all it did was make my own clubs feel lighter in my hand, which was nice, but didnt like make my swing any better, infact it like sped up my swing.

I would advise you to take a look at the David Ledbetter swing trainer, I like it because its endorsed by good pros that you will recognise, not like some endorsements by people you never hear off, this is used and approved by good golfers.

Also Adam Scott endorses a product that uses some weird mesuremnt to show you if you have the correct swing path. I have only ever tried the momentus myself but i hear good trhings bout the other two.

    Think of it like this:

You have a bucket full of water and you swing it from the handle. You start the start the bucket of water with a touch of momentum and as you are swinging it back, it swings along a plane. This is due to centrifugal force.

The swingsetter is a bit 2 pricey for my liking over 120. Is there anywhere in Ireland that sells the momentus swing trainer

I don't have a momentus one, the one I have is a bit light tbh.. gonna sell it off on ebay.

I did try a momentus one though, and i liked it... I'll buy off ebay too..

For medium-low handicappers it's not gonna improve anything except the tone/strength of your golf muscles. It's also good for warming/loosening up before a game.

It was suggested to my by the guy who owned it, who played off 1, that if you swing it for 10-15 minutes a day, it really helps you keep your swing in the groove. You don't hit any balls with it or you could injure yourself..
