playing a 6 seater mtt on UB. Its the bubble. I was playing outrageously aggressive but got all my money in with A2 against QJ and lost so now am quite shortstacked. Anyway I have k3 on the sb. I raise the pot. BB reraises the pot, its 4k more to me and Ill have 7k left if I call. Opponent has almost exactly the same. I call. Flop is king high and I check call his all in.

    hows my play?

What were the blinds? Were there other stacks with less that 7K?

just came second for 1k. Hand of the tournament was this. Very aggressive chip leader raises utg. I reraise the pot with 72. Flop is KQ2. He bets and I go all in. If he calls and loses he will be a shortstack. He types in AQ and folds. I show. It was a mistake showing but I couldnt help myself.

Well im glad that you read and enjoy my blog. Do you really think I would falsify a hand just to make someone Ive never met or know anything about look foolish? What possible reason would I have to do such a thing.

What I said was true, I checked other hands and all of the actions that took place at that time had their times wrong.

In that case you played it fine. It's right to try and take advantage of bubble tightness at this point in the tourney so raising when its folded to you in the SB becomes almost automatic against certain players. Since you can call, lose and still make the money I've no problem with seeing the flop but that really depends how big the reraise was because you didn't say. After the flop check calling the all-in is automatic.

I don't like raising from the sb with rubbish unless the bb is extremely short stacked, in which case I put them all in with anything better than Q7. It's done too often when the antes are high and people are wise to it. After raising I think you have to call though, and then your play on the flop is the right one too.
