Nice to hear. I watched his table for a while but he didn't play a hand, so I wandered off to Google and found that Ryokan is a Japanese guest-house.

You'll never beat the Irish, :):):):):):):)
    .............except perhaps tomorrow night.

Dunno... I'm thinking about going for the draw and hey, that way I won't mind/feel guilty if/when we win :D (delete where appropriate)

Of course, I mean, I would bet on them .. but that would only jinx them....so... I'm being patriotic really..

If I was Swiss (or English) I think I'd back them at 3-1 ?!!

    Sorry for being OT.

That's another slap for me ;)

Ryokan was a Zen Buddhist monk who lived in Japan 1758-1831. He soon left the monastery where practice was frequently quite lax, and lived as a hermit until he was very old and had to move into the house of one of his supporters.
Ryokan was famous for his poetry and calligraphy. His poetry is often very simple and inspired by nature. He was a lover of children, and sometimes forgot to go on his alms round to get food because he was playing with the children of the nearby village.
There is some debate as to whether Ryokan was enlightened, but he lived a very simple, very pure life, and stories about his kindness and generosity abound.

Let's all guess the name of Ryokan on PokerStars.
    1. Someone interested in Buddhism;
    2. good at poker; :p
    3. lives in Dublin. :D

    I would get 1 out of 3. :(
