hey, do any of you know a band the sing classical songs but with punk rock music?....iv heard of loads of them and they sound pretty cool but iv never heard of a bands name that do em

well not beethoven or mozart, but Me First & The Gimmie Gimmies do punk covers. theyve done, I Am A Rock, San Francisco, Me And Julio Down By The Schoolyard and Blowin' In The Wind

i know one song is walking in the air(you know thechristmas one with the snowman) my friend was telling me about it its like theat song and faster and with drums and guitars and all it sounded cool, he doesnt know the name of the band tho

well loads of punk bands have a few covers, but Me First & The Gimmie Gimmies are a cover band.

string quartet tribute to....
they do tributes to lots o rock and punk bands.

the vandals do a good cover of dance of the sugarplum fairies on the oi to the owrld album , is that the sort your lookin for

i got were walking in the air its by nightwish its so so cool its like all classical then in the middle drums and guitar come in real heavy its so good theres a clip of it on www.nightwish.com

Hmm... How would the old 3 chord trick that is Punk lend itself to something as complex as classical music?
