I use a 56k connection but recently ive had to move the pc into another room but i need one of those cables that connects you to the internet by plugging it into the phone socket. Do komplett sell them and whats there proper name? Ill need to have a fairly long one as its a good 15m from the pc and the phone line. Any idea if komplett sell them?

Ethernet cables are the bigger wires but they're usually only used for broadband, networking, etc

for a 56k modem i think they are just known a standard telephone cables, unless you have a different type of connector at the end.

theres a website that sells telephone cables etc. Its got pictures of the different type of connections too, it might be helpful!

Couldn't see any on Komplett. The cable is just a normal phone cable. The connectors on them are known as rj11 but you don't really need to know this. This is the job for you I think http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/shop/db.cgi?view=1&id=4165&type=6&path=11x156x584 . Although you'll get them in any hardware shop.

Normal telephone extension lead does the job.
