we will be moving to new hampshire initially in january and once we get settled we will probably move to massachusetts, connecticut or even rhode island. Depends where i can get a good a IT job.

I applied for the fianca visa as my gf is american (we met in dublin 2 years ago in messar mcguires)and we are getting married in april 21st in the states. We tried to keep it a small afair but it has become a pretty big wedding with all my relations from ireland coming.

yeah all my folks and some of my aunts and uncles came over to America for my wedding last year, they loved it! Couldnt believe how cheap things were, the grub and all. My Dad especially didnt want to go home, the most he had been abroad was England. He said he would move to America in a heartbeat, but i dont think it will happen. They are coming back again next April for a visit. Jobs are pretty scarce here at the moment but keep trying and if your out of luck then get some credentials, community college or something that wont cost you an arm and a leg. College is very important over here if you want a good career. If you need any more help, dont hesitate to pm again.

i have already started, i plan to have some mcp's done by the april and then finish the rest while in the states and hopefully have my MCSE done.

Also there is a good college nearby where im moving too and they have a few good computer courses there. There seems to be tons of computer jobs in mass the last time i checked just have to get my leg in the door. Its very exciting i must admit. Lets just hope it aint snowing in april!!!!

Congrats, man. On the wedding and the visa.

You have proven that it can be done!!!

Good luck herding all the wedding guests around New England. Best strategy is get a bus, and put beer on it. They won't stray far then.

    farls

the visa i applied for is the fiance visa as my gf is american and we are getting married next april.

Were you given a number for the application through the lottery. The chances are rather slim im afraid.

Ah alright man, way you posted first of all seemed as though you had gotten one yourself. No mind, I know the chance is slim but I also know who have gotten their visa's through the lottery...lucky sods :)
