This position will be responsible for quality assurance testing of a telecom billing platform. There is a major emphasis on applying structured processes to quality assurance testing, promoting the use of best practice testing models, with responsibility for ensuring that the test targets for projects are met with agreed time lines. Excellent influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to foster relationships with other teams.

Requirements:

Test planning and execution, and reporting for assigned project
Writing, executing, and maintaining test scripts
Provide updates during test execution to project team

Any experience in billing systems an advantage ( Amdocs etc)
Previous experience with billing systems
Knowledge of telecom environment
Solid Unix background
Solid SQL
Excellent attention to detail
Solid communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with tight deadlines
Self motivated - self managed.

Hum i currently work using the amdocs system in a billing dept with a telo company. what sort of wages are they offering, its a bit of a hole in the pocket renting in dublin and have friends in galway.
