I flopped top two pair KQ after raising in this hand and there is two to a flush on the board. Not sure if I'm happy with how I played it. Any thoughts? What do you think of putting the villain all in on the turn?

$200 is the next increment from $100 when you're selecting the raise amount on PPP, it just means I put him all for his last $102.

Slightly OT ... When you place a bet into the pot (e.g your €200) and it is not called, does the site take a rake on that €200 ?

Methinks not, but it is Monday morning, so will ask the silly question anyway :o

Depends why you aren't happy with how you played it?
If you reckoned he had a hand that could improve and you want to take the pot down there and then, fair enough, job done.
Otherwise, if ur confident ur in the lead and want to extract another bet out of him to let him see the river, why put him all in? If he's holdin AK you've gone out so strong on the flop and the turn he has to smell trouble and lay it down.

And Culchie, I presume they don't take a rake on his $200 as his extra chips that aren't called are returned to him and wins the remaining pot (€102).

It looked very like a flush draw with the leading bet on the flop. He's not much of a player so the leading bet on the flop made me at least 90% sure he hadn't got the set. I normally stick them all in on the turn when I think I'm ahead and they're chasing the flush but I suppose long term I'm loosing out on value with guys that won't put their stack on the line, but will call a very large bad value bet. Would anyone have charged him, say, half the pot to look at the river? There's also the possibility he had the K and was drawing dead.

I doubt very much they take a rake on that $200.

He could be on any straight or flush draw obv so you were making him pay over the odds to catch. At $1/$2 you wont get many players sucking out to you for thier whole stack.
And he's not drawing dead if he's holding AK! ;)

There's only rake if it's called and only on the amount that's actually in the pot (so 102 if that is what it is called with in this case)

There is nothing which I despise more than when you see players pushing all in for a $40 with the nuts on the board, it's a such a waste of good rake!

back on topic: I see little wrong with how you played the hand, however you will generally only get called at this level when you are behind.

good river bet. str8 + flushdraw out dont let him get a cheap card. and if u gonna bet 70 and he have 32 left. U will only get his 32 extra in on the river if he hits so it was a perfect bet i would say.

Remember if you bet enough to price out draws you WANT them to call not fold. Id raise the flop smaller and bet less on the turn.
