Gaxo van's are normally set about 15km above the speed limit you might be ok, I passed one on the leixlip - celbridge interchange a few months ago doing 70 in a 60 zone and never got anything.

Just have to wait and see.

I presume you are referring to the stretch at St. Johns Road west. This, I believe is 50kmph and the Talivan is a regular occurence here but is hidden so well that you often won't see it until it sees you.

Is that by the Garda Boat Club?

Van is regularly there - they've been moving it around a little and changing the van used.

Shooting fish in a barrel really...

3 months is the time limit on them sending the notice.

Oh if you do get it, you could try the old trick of binning it and when you get the notice to appear before court just say you never received it. I know of at least 5 cases that were thrown out for that, unless the Garda hand deliever or it registered post which it doesn't be they have no proof you recieved it.

Another trick is if they are very late sending it, name a friend after the 27th day and the friend has a further 60 days to pay up, by which time the case will be statute barred. They run out of time after 6 months.
