    hey guys!! need a good value graphics card for a h.p laptop. dont want to spend crazy money. any advice and are they easy to install???

    its a h.p pavilion dv4000. 100g hard drive, ig of ram and a 128 shared graphics card!!!

    Its most lightly integrated on to the motherboard so not a change of upgrading it.

    As has been said once the graphics are intergrated onto the motherboard you wont be able to upgrade only the likes of the go range from nivida are upgradable

    Like the likes of this 7800gtx go below

    dont mess with it unless you think of yourself as being pretty handy with a soldering iron..

    problem then though is that with most intergrated motherboards on laptops, the graphics card is integrated for a reason. highly likely that you could mess the monitor up if you start playing around with the graphics card...

    best bet is not mess around with it. sorry mate!

    Is it possible to upgrade a graphics card in a laptop which has an ATI Raedon 9200 installed. I need to upgrade it to a 128 or 256mb graphics card as the 64mb 9200 i have installed wont allow me to play games like brothers in arms. Does anyone know what my options are - Apart from buying a desktop!

    just buy the desktop, make it yourself though or get a mate to build it for u, its the cheaper route........

    it may be possible depending on what laptop it is and whether upgrade modules can be gotten for it, check out this site
