Does anyone remember this series - the old one not the new series? Ye really should. It was kinda like The Twilight Zone meets The Outer Limits meets Stephen Spielbergs Amazing Stories(another great series).

RTE showed a few episodes but they were never in order and at one stage they repeated an episode by mistake but it never came back.

People wrote into that show Mailbag complaining and everything. I wonder can you get it on dvd or anything?

You can get it on Region 1 DVD from the States..

Try here, here or even here. Recommend buying off DVDPacific myself!

Yeah it was funny too. Remember the main character in it used to deliver newspapers and Elvis lived in the town.He used to come out in his whole white suit and say "Thanks for the paper, little paper boy" :D

The first episode I remember seeing was the one with the mother who kept her two twin boys in gian tupperware boxes at night time so they never aged. They had been in school for fifty years or something.

There was another one were he found an alternate reality in the town where missing kids went. If your picture appeared on the side of a milk carton it meant you were in this netherworld. As far as I remember an evil milkman used to hunt the kids through the town.

Ooh I so fancied the lead dude, Omri Katz. He was a little fox! :) Think they used to show it on Channel 4 aswell as Network 2.

Yeah, I remember that show too. Excellent stuff, and pretty freaky when you're ten like I was at the time. I remember when they were showing 'the bigger breakfast' on channel 4 (was it?) during the Summer holidays getting up early and watching it...

Must get Amazing Stories. I loved the start where the camera zoomed through the living room and into the popcorn.

Great episode of eerie indiana where it turns out that their lives are actually a tv show with the camera drawing back from the dinner table to show the tv crew, director etc. Quite insane, as was said, Twilight Zone for kids, in fact quite a bit better than the Forrest Whittaker presented one of recent years.
    Can't beat the original series.

Are you a fan of Dazed and Confused by any chance?
I used to watch it on the bigger breakfast, that and bug juice, it was great, an intelligent funny kids show but the new version they made years later was as they say, gay out of it.
